Fame is a premium service barber shop with a unique offering of grooming and pampering services for men. Facing slow business growth and low brand awareness, Fame approached G&A to devise an effective brand positioning strategy and to increase brand awareness across a high-end, male target audience.
G&A proposed a refreshed brand identity and a distinctively packaged presentation of Fame’s service offerings. Efforts to raise brand awareness employed a multi-channel tactical approach. This was achieved via social media engagement, brand visibility in key locations within close proximity, as well as out of home environmental communications in hotels and restrooms of restaurants and sports bars.
‘Fame – The original Barbershop’ was rebranded as ‘Fame – The Grooming Club’ to better encompass its wide range of services vis-a-vis the typical barbershop. The subsequent artwork was designed to portray a sophisticated and masculine image with the use of traditional vintage elements with an overall modern presentation.
Our rebranding work on Fame – The Grooming Club was awarded 4 Gold and 2 Silver Addy awards in the 2016 Caribbean Advertising Federation Awards, and went on to win 2 Silver District Addy awards at the American Advertising Federation Awards.
